The Story of Astronomy

These stories relates to astronomy. They have been passed down through generation after generation after generation among these various communities. So this is all traditions. And so within these stories, it's actually just a way of incoding information so that the next generation has access to the information. The stories relating to astronomy, the aboriginal stories, their brilliant stories, but they were all so easy to understand. Was that meant to be? Yes o, a lot of the stuff, like i said, that's out there was done by non indigenous academics, essentially. Whereas within our culture, there's very much a sort of structural hierarchy to it, because no one person could possibly know all the information.
