Oklahoma's governor signed a bill this week that bans Oklahoma's Children's Hospital from receiving tax funding for gender transition services. At stake is $39.4 million in federal COVID relief funds that the hospital intended to use for its new pediatric mental health facility. Governor Kevin Stitt called it, quote, wildly inappropriate for taxpayer dollars to be used for these types of controversial procedures on healthy children.
