The Importance of Quantitative Easing

Quantitative easing is the policy tool to help increase inflationary pressure in the economy. It's usually done when there's deep, when like the Bank of England thinks that there will be deflectionary pressure. So deflation is just as bad as inflation because it means that you would postpone your spending. But we don't want it as kind of all of the prices coming down on average kind of for any long period of time.
