I Love the Word Like More Than I Like the Word Love
Dennis Prager: I have a very strong sense of right and wrong, and I try to listen to it. But tied with the belief that it was wrong was the self-respect issue. He says he never quite understood the "self-love" quote about liking yourself more than loving your child. The word like may be related; not every parent loves their child as much as they love them.
