The Predator Has Detected the Poet
The poem is titled "All in the day of" and includes four stanzas. The first two lines are about a bird who looks like it's in danger, but then offers him a crumb to calm his fears. In the third line he says: "I'll hop sideways and let you go on your merry way." He makes two grammatical mistakes; they're wilful subversions of grammar rules that have been replaced by superior language.
