I think this is a deep thing because there are an infinite number of rules that would always explain some situation. So the idea of that whole project was not to solve letter string analogy problems, but more to model analogy in general. And I'm working on how does this apply? How can we apply these ideas and more broadly? That's an area of research that hasn't been looked at very much in AI.
