Australia despite being having a pretty bad record on a per capita basis is just a just a really small country and so its emissions kind of don't amount to very much in the in the scheme of things certainly considering all of the 21st or 22nd century but then yeah most of the discussion is around how can we change Australia's emissions right now. I wonder maybe that actually kind of is fine because it prompts you to spend money or developing an old deploying new technologies and that ends up driving down the cost. That is not a not unreasonable way to influence to have a much larger effect by influencing what other countries end up doing over the longer term. People are following kind of the completely wrong logic
