Is Elixir a Part of the Solution?
The entire backend is basically an Elixir Phoenix monolith. And I sort of started building the core of it, which is sort of standard server side rendered Elixir pages. Sometimes the entire page is one giant React app. Other times there's just a few small React apps that are injected at different spots. So I sort of tried to be pretty pragmatic with where the UI gets complicated.
