Lebanon - Just When You Think It Couldn't Get Any Worse, It's Getting Worser
Lebanon is suffering from a collapse of epic proportions, in the grips of one of the world's worst financial crises since the 18 hundreds. Food, fuel and medicine are scarce. The currency has crashed, prices ha soredpeople have been left with nothing. And added into that toxic mix, in august 20, 20 was the huge explosion of ammonium nitrate at the port of beyrout. More than 200 people died, thousands were injured, and 300 thousand were made homeless.
