English Heritage Black Metal Is Pretty Humorous to Me

I think yeah, English heritage black metal is pretty hilarious to me. They're claims to folk music and the heritage of folk music. I wonder if they've ever even listened to any of the important figures who moved through that scene because they seem to talk a lot about folk music. And like you say, it was a convenient way for them to love the nation and not the land rather than love the land and hate the nation. There's a fundamental risk there where black metal is so defined by being against the mainstream. It's actually metal in general, in some extent. You define yourself against the mainstream, the mainstream moves on becomes more progressive and then suddenly you're reacting to it.
