I think the only reason we have reasonable competition on the internet is because there was a set of laws that got passed in the 90s, mostly during the Clinton administration. And so I do think that there is something to be said for a regulatory framework that creates a neutral playing field or allows the kind of marketplace of ideas specifically with software and open source projects to exist. The huge, the biggest golden egg is James Poulis' idea of a First Amendment for Compute. If you get that implemented in like the Florida Constitution, right? That would just be absolutely amazing.
