Is There a Link Between Bitcoin and Money?
In the 19th century, we had the industrial revolution come out of England and that was a place that had zero government funding for science. The notion of government going around and formulating society into what voters want was just an alien concept at that time. And so it was there was an element of trying to describe a technology almost like technology writing to the Bitcoin standard. In my next book, I decided that I was going to do the same thing with fiat, which you don't think of the current global monetary system as being something you like.
