The Power of Empathy

I delivered the address at a funeral this year. It was indescribably difficult and yet healing, too. We talk into the void, but the void isn't empty. The loss is so great and it doesn't always fade. I'm nostalgic for a lot of things that only I can know, only I truly feel.
