The Large Hydron Colider Is Back!

The large hydron colider has been operating since two thousand eight it shoots atoms together at near light speed to create millions of particle collisions per second. The upgrades also allowed them to smash particles more often, so we can increase the likelihood of finding these unlikely particles. And they added a forward search experiment, or phaser, which is set up about a quarter mile from the collider and they hope well detect exotic particles that decay as they travel away from the collisions.
