Why Isn't the World Heating Equally?
The North West Passage is a stretch of water between Canada and Greenland. In the past, very treacherous sea ice has made this route pretty much impossible to pass for most of the year. Because of climate change, today the passage is free of sea ice in the summer - but it's having a huge impact on communities and wildlife that call this area home. Although temperatures are rising on nearly every continent on Earth, the Arctic is warming nearly four times faster. So why isn't the world heating equally?
