How Did You Get Your First Job in Austin?
I went to school in Madison, Wisconsin, and then traveled around the world for about a year and a half. My first job there was interestingly for a woman who owned a small marketing consulting company that helped nonprofits and colleges and universities with her public relations. She sadly ended up dying of cancer as I was moving to Austin. And they were very influential on me, especially when it came to thinking bigger... Who you surround yourself with really matters.
