Madison Russo, a 19-year-old from Iowa was on Tiktok telling people that she has had cancer and not just any cancer, but three different diagnoses. She used Tiktok as a way to raise money through GoFundMe and had gotten 439 people to give her $37,000. When police went into her house they found all kinds of things just laying around the house including pills for anti-nausea medication which were prescribed to somebody else. They subpoenaed her medical records as well and found she had no diagnosis of cancer.
