Lambda's Dreamscope
Lambda was founded in May of 2017 by Stephen Balaban and his brother Michael. They wanted to create an infrastructure for machine learning that would take away the pain from people, so they could run their own GPUs on Amazon's cloud. The company had a lot of downloads but never found commercial revenue success. Now Lambda is one of the leading providers of AI-based workloads such as TensorFlow or Keras.
