There were three or four reasons that exist, that discontinuity, which I can articulate. One is that as we were going back to our earlier conversation in terms of establishing covenant with the viewer, I wanted to be able to move freely through time. At the very top of the film, you start to hear a little bit of space auditing and then it crashes into hella space boy from 1994. So immediately I'm trolling the viewer's expectations that we're going to hear things chronologically. Now the film does unfold for the most part chronologically, but I wanted it to have the ability to move where I wanted to freely. But all of those things combine factor into why that ended
