Charles Duhigg's approach is a three step model where he's got Q routine reward. The craving is the way that you interpret that queue and what kind of action or response you think you should take because of it. And then finally, there's some kind of reward or consequence, but if there's no consequence your tend to not do it again. This four stage model integrates both behavioral and cognitive psychology so that we can understand our behavior at a deeper level.
