The Importance of Longer Sprinting

There's a skill development aspect of longer runs where simply by virtue of having more steps, you're doing more reps of the specific skill. Part of it is I don't do too much very intense long sprinting. We did a lot of that in college and it worked for a while but then I completely blew up. There are athletes who simply maybe it's just where they are in their development. And if I have them run 6, 150s at 60%, their body's hurting, they're falling apart, they're not able to handle it. So when I have tempo endurance, some amount of like speed endurance training, I become a much more put together athlete.
