The First Generation of Identity Management
The first generation of identity management really came up in that era to solve the problem of doing security at scale. That first generation we really saw scale and then complexity come in. In 2006, I started my second company called Simplified which was helping companies deal with the move to software as a service where now the applications were run by a third party.
