Status Epilepticus - What Are the Key Elements of a Case Study?

The patient has fever, viral infection with rhinoentrovirus and generalized tonic clonic seizure lasting more than five minutes. Status epilepticus is historically defined as single epileptic seizure of greater than 30 minutes of duration or a series of epileptic seizures during which function is not regained between ictal events in a 30 minute period. The physical exam was relatively unremarkable but it's really important to look for a rash.
