Climate ethics should be engaging with actors that have some degree of power, but also that might be motivated to act ethically. I think there's a sort of variability in the objective function or the motivation of labor unions that makes them an interesting site for this kind of engaged work. And so the idea would be to do interviews, potentially some fieldwork with labor unions in emissions intensive industries and some in perhaps not emissions intensive industries. Think about a whole range of conceptual normative questions relating to sort of how they conceive of ... moral demands relating to climate change.
