Pornography and Relationships

I think that pornography is a place where people could attempt to connect with pleasures of other types of people. And then that might be an important bridge to a deeper, multi-perspectable kind of universe. When I see someone from one of these other memetic tribes doing something, like voting for Trump or something, I don't connect to the enjoyment that they're taking in and how they get off on owning their lives. So it might be that porn is a relatively safe area in which people could try to access the perverse enjoyment aspect of taking the perspective of the other. It's harder to know whether how that's led to my maturation and general emotional intimacy and flexibility.
