The kingdom of God is still at hand. It's still near. Let's gather the harvest and get the kingdom ready for the king to return. If we want the king to come back, there has to be a kingdom to come to. He says that sometimes cities will it says receive you not. This actually happens with Paul and Barnabas later in Acts in Antioch. The people did not listen to them and it talks about them shaking the dust off and moving on.
