What Happens to a Russian Conscript?
Russia's editor, stephen rosenberg, has been speaking to marina. She is the mother of two young russians who were conscripted into the army. Early this year she was told her sons would not be sent to krane that wasp by a russian president for te merputin. But at the start of the war, she lost contact with both of them. For me, time stopped. I couldn't eat. I messaged mothers of other conscripts from the same unit. Many of them had lost contact with their children too. It really depends on the circumstances. Some there are some turning points, and thus there are some small steps
