The Tension Between the United States and China

I view our relationship with China very differently than our relationship with other trading partners. I think that the two are actually in tension with one another in ways that I'll describe. It is not good for the long run security interests of the United States when we are dependent economically on our enemy for our modern way of life. They're deputizing companies, not in a capitalist game, but in a mercantilist game. Airbnb being required to hand over user data of American users,. private messages sent on their platform to the CCP as a condition for doing business there. That's not capitalism. That is mercantilism. We have to be reentering the TPP or what's
