The strikers started building support pretty much around the country for what they were doing. And effectively, one of the ways that they managed to build such support was they weren't relying on regional or national trade union officials. So when the post office workers said, actually, we're going to black runways male. Now that could have brought that company down. Colin Malone, who was also the chairman of the local Cricklewood branch of the union of post office workers, UPW. He explained how the boycott came about.
