How to Take Notes Effectively

Since writing my book, one of the questions I get a lot related to reading and just consuming content really of any kind is on the process of note taking. And many of us, this has been me over the years in the past, never do anything with notes that nothing ever becomes of them. So for me, the first read is zippy because I'm a fast reader. But then I pull out my unending supply of highlighters and pens, colored pens. Also found clear three by five sticky notes that allow me to make notes on the page like not mark on the page necessarily, but make notes.
