The lack of transparency around what was going on in whan that likely produce this is, uh, is criminal. If they ran serial passage experiments in ferrets and humanized mice in order to make a virus that was his in human more infectious in humans, what they did was accidentally train it for the ability to jump species. And then when you talk about, uh, it moving tissues within the body, well, we've trained it to have this extremely broad tropism,. whereas nature here would have narrowed that tropism. So my basic feeling is, look, we know a lot about vira evolution. We've got to be really cautious about applying it to this virus.
