The IPL on Star has broken records and set new benchmarks. If there was a myth that linear TV was even dying as when it comes to live sport particularly, then that myth has been busted wide open. The growth in viewership for kids below the age of 14 has been 63% compared to last season. That can't be on a platform that is either dying or for that matter even de-growing. We are now at 49.6 crore or 496 million viewers of the live broadcast of IPL. we have crossed 400 billion minutes of consumption, which is 40,000 crore minutes of consumption. It is the second highest with the highest being the COVID year when everyone was home
