The Seven Days of Creation
In Genesis one, you just read this very carefully crafted story of creation taking place over seven days. Then we get to this story where it says on the day that the Lord God made earth and heavens, well, which day? I mean, already there's this question. Why should we as Israelites or as Jewish people, why do we take a seventh day off? And so it's justifying a religious practice.
