Digital marketing agency owners need to hire world class account managers. The typical account manager can handle between 25 and 30 accounts. If you get 10 or 15 clients on retainer that are paying you, one full-time account manager for every 20 to 25 clients is a sweet spot. Less than 25, they're going to have capacity.
