Dillenbury: The oldest known grave in southeast asia is 31 thousand years old. On closer inspection, it actually looked a lot like the foot had been amputated. This would make this the oldest evidence of a surgical procedure that we're aware of. Dillenbury: It suggests quite an advanced knowledge of how to do a surgery and have the patient survive.
