Is It Permissible to Sell My Vote?
In the United States, both of the main parties for public and Democrat are relatively evenly capitalized. So I don't see that there'd be much of a problem having a marketing votes in the US. But imagine a fictitious example, where one party is really heavily capitalized, and another party is really poorly capitalized. And so a vote market might actually work to be detriment to the poverty as a whole. Depends how wealth is distributed, depends on what policies being put forward - but I can see markets in votes in contemporary American society.
