Is Stardew Valley Better Than Animal Crossing?

I was so impressed by the creature comforts of this game especially compared to like an animal crossing and somewhat to a. I think it's worse than Stardew Valley. There are a bunch of like dumb tasks you know like meaningless like collect 10 fish or whatever but that stuff kind of happens organically as you're doing the more structured things. It does give you the sense that even if you're not right in the middle of something you might as well pick up some different items because you might need them later.
