The Golden Age by Wang Xiaobuo
I wanted to recommend a novel that was uh published in translation in english last year by Wang Xiaobuo called golden age. I did a review of it for the New York Times in June of last year and so we could maybe put a link or something for people who want to find it but I think it's a really it's one of those books that's it's hilarious and it's also profound at the same time, he says. He recommends jazz blue note LPs which have been re-issued with even more complete liner notes.
