Mark on aan: In solitude there is this indissoluble unity. But then it looks like we get some kind of duality. Where as we're going to see, we're in knowledge and in other relationships with the supposedly outside world that he still thinks that we are reflected back to ourselves. There's something indirect there. So the dynamic of consciousness involves a longer and longer trip out from ourself to get absorbed in something else.
