How Did You Get Into Computer Science?

I was never interested in computers at all. Didn't really know what i wanted to do. I read douglas hostater's book, girdle esher bach and eternal golden braid which was published a long time ago. And that just made me decide that i really wanted to work in ai with hof stetter. So i sort of persistently tried to convince him to let me join his research group, which finally he did. And i ended up doing a ph d on computer science.
