The Importance of Awakening
The ability to accurately understand cause and effect is perhaps the central aspect of awakening. But beyond that, I would say sorry to ask the rationalist or anyone this, but how do you know? How do you know that those that awaken people aren't able to accurately assess that? That's a rather large claim that demands scrutiny, not only for others, but directed towards ourselves. Are we really able to see? People honestly believe that they're doing the thing that is best to do. In general, it's very rare that a person is intentionally committing evil. We're attempting to do the thing that as far as we can tell is the best thing.
