How Did You Come Across Cognitive Control?

Cognitive control is something that you can examine at many different fractal layers. It's sort of a meta problem in addition tosomething that you can see in folks that have syndrome or maladaptive kind of behaviors when it comes to cognitive control. The frontal lobes in general, and the prefrontal cortex in particular have long been a puzzle, right? And so given all the stuff that we attribute to the prefrontal cortex, I actually think it was sort of it's surprising to know that for so many years, people thought it didn't really have much function.
