The Immunoregulatory Landscape of Human Tuberculosis Granulomas

In TB, interferon is depleted and TGF beta is elevated. It's enriched in regulatory C cells and IDO1 and PDL1 which are both in immunosuppressive signaling pathway myloid cells. The blood of people with TB mirrors these trends. And this is something I derived specifically from MTB granulomas that they're able to find there too. We were supplementary information but just to be too clear, the IDO and PDL 1 is expressed basically on the myeloid cells in this granuloma. Right? Correct. Well, some scientists are very thorough about doing things to generate new treatments for tuberculosis.
