The Eucharist, the Bed Rock, the Source and Summit, as the Church Teaches.
The eucharist is not something that exists just as a sort of isolated a reality, or something that we do in a sort of individualistic way. The church in her wisdom leads us through the liturgical rights to be with and receive christ in the eucharist. We see this perhaps especially in the season that we've just come out of of lent. Lent shapes or our kind of living for forty days in a way that perhaps the rest of the year doesn't - but the literaturgical calendar certainly does.
