Burma - A Brief History
Protest continued off and on for decades with the two thousand seven saffron revolution, in which the government violently cracked down on monks. After extensive cyclone damage in two thousand eight, the military government finally implemented the road discipline flourishing democracy that had developed in 19 93. Many opposition groups still use burma instead of mianma. It's another small way of saying no to the militaris Attempt to control every aspect of their lives.
