Shinero Kahnner represented a very specific type of Irishness, an Irishness that I'm very proud of. She used her position to help her out of careers for no reason other than a love of art and doing what's right. Every famous person, everyone important in the world this week, expressed their grief and respect for Shinero Kahnner. It's so infuriating and frustrating that so much time and space was given to fucking vilify in her when she was alive.
