The Problem With Indian Diets

In general terms what do Indians consume the most? We consume rice and cereals as you said and also dals but also what else? Is the ratio that we consume of fruits and vegetables and other sources of protein very low compared to say somebody else from another country such as India? In any diet carbohydrates would be the largest proportion so that would not be the way to look at it. So our gaps are least in cereal consumption and the gap increases as you go to other macro and micro nutrients.
