The Relationship Between Neuroticism and Paranormal Beliefs

There's evidence that neuroticism correlates positively with paranormal beliefs. The authors also examine a trait from the dark triad in relation to belief in astrology. Intelligence might relate to belief in those things for the same reason that life stress and instability are related to increases in those beliefs.
