The Difference Between Stabbings and Slashings
In my 18 months at two rivers prison, somebody got stabbed or slashed about once a week. And these drug debts are by far the most common reason that prison shankings happen. There's a difference between stabbings and slashings. Stabbings are usually meant to kill you. Slashings are usually not meant to kill the person. It's the most common form of discipline within a particular gang.
