What Is Inherently Evil?

Morgan Bolt: Cancer may bring only suffering and death, but cell division keeps us alive. If evil is a positive reality, then it seems that it must have been brought into existence by God since God is a creator of everything that exists. The ancient mannequies tried to reject this conclusion by positing that in addition to the good God, there was a supreme evil being who brought evil into existence. Aquinas believes that a universe with a variety of different creatures is a better representation of God's goodness. According to Aquinas, evils that are suffered by one creature are caused by another creature seeking its own perfection.
